DIARY OF A WIMPY KID-Greg Heffley’s Journal

This is a very interesting novel or I should say a novel in cartoons.It was a very nice experience reading this book.This book is written by Jeff Kinney who is an online game developer and designer.Though its name is “Diary of a wimpy kid”,it is a journal not a diary.

This journal is about Greg Heffley who writes it down.He was not interested in it but his mom says him to do so.His mom thinks that he is going to write his feelings in the journal,but Greg thinks that she is crazy.The only reason that Greg agreed to write it at all is because he figure later on when he is rich and famous,this book is gonna come in handy.when Greg joins middle school he stsrts writing his journal.He stucks in middle school with a bunch of morons.He hs an elder brother named Rodrick and a younger one named Manny.His best friend is Rowley.The book becomes more interesting when one reads about the mess Manny creates for Greg and when Roderick who often taunts Greg and plays trick on him.Rowley is an empty headed guy, often gets in trouble and sometimes to get out from there he involves Greg in it.The book is all about the fun they had during Halloween and Christmas and all troubles they face.The story revolves around a peice of cheese that is on the basketball court of Greg’s school.Throughout the whole book Greg tries to become famous but nothing goes in his favour and he often gets defamed.Overall it is a very nice book.I recommend this book to all the book lovers.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Like all the parts of harry potter, J.K.Rowling continues to surprise and delight with the power of her rich,demanding and action packed story telling.From the black heart of voldemort to the fever pitch excitement of the qwidditch world cup,the magical world of Hogwarts . Harry Potter is more spellbinding than ever. Deep in mystery, rich in history and sparky in adventure.

J.K. Rowlling is a gift for story telling enthrals.I also like the tasks given to the four champions. Further reaching then any yet, this is the book in which Harry and Ron start to notice girls to became their dance partner with comic concequences , and in which Voldemort returns with fatal ones.

After reading this book you will feel excited for the next part. I would wish to say that there isn’t a dull page. The plot fits together like a wondrous jigsaw and J.K.Rowling has delivered her best book.

Library Visit to G B Pant University Library

On 20 feb, around 130 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Haldwani visited the Gobind Ballab Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. Class XI students and Reader’s club members visited the library and vaterinary college. Students have been given a demo about the university and its 10 colleges.
